Welcome to Orange Lutheran!
Welcome, new Lancer Families! We are excited to join you in partnership in raising the next generation of disciples for Christ. As you and your student prepare for school to begin in August, please feel free to contact your Parent Liasion for information in addition to the guidance provided on this page.
MEET YOUR
PARENT LIAISON
We’re happy you’re here!
As your Parent Liaison, my role is to ensure that parents have all the information, connections, and support that they need for their student’s first year at OLu. Have a question but don’t know who to contact? Wondering about some upcoming events for your student? Need help with our website or ParentSquare? I’m here to help!
You will hear from me throughout the school year to help you navigate your first year as a Lancer via email and ParentSquare, which you will learn more about this summer. In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me! I look forward to meeting you, and it would be my pleasure to help you in any way possible.

FAQ

How does Block Scheduling work?
HOW DOES BLOCK SCHEDULING WORK?
- ‘Red Days’ are all odd numbered classes (1, 3, 5, and 7).
- ‘White Days’ are even numbered classes (2, 4, 6, and 8).
- Students will alternate between Red Days and White Days, with occasional Assembly Days.
The first day of school will be a Red Day. See the Academic Calendar HERE to review the Red/White Day schedule. (On the linked calendar, school dates are labeled in red for Red Days, and in black for White days.)
Can students drive themselves to campus?
Parking on campus is a privilege reserved for Seniors. If a student is NOT a senior, or if they are a senior who is not able to park on campus, they must park offsite at Sears and take the provided shuttle bus to OLu campus. All students who intend to park on campus or at Sears must have a parking permit. Click here for more information and to apply for a parking permit.
How can my student purchase food on campus?
The OLu Cafe offers a safe and convenient way for students to purchase food and drink items through MyPaymentsPlus. Students can pay “touchless” with their Student ID card (which allows funds to be reloaded online), bring cash, swipe a debit/credit card or use Apple Pay. You can load money on your students account by using this website, and an instructional video for creating an account can be found here.
How will OLu communicate with me?
Orange Lutheran uses a service called ParentSquare to communicate with students, parents, faculty, and staff. ParentSquare is a safe and secure communication platform that allows you to communicate directly with your student’s teachers, coaches, and staff and receive regular updates and important information. Parents and students will receive an invitation to join ParentSquare in July, at which point you can create your account and verify your contact information. Watch the video below for more information on the ParentSquare system.
