EXCELLENCE ON AND OFF THE ICE
A unique blend of elite hockey training and academic excellence, Orange Lutheran’s Lancer Ice Academy offers a high school experience like no other. By dividing coursework between online and on-campus classes, Ice Academy students can take advantage of top-notch hockey training in addition to a Christ-centered education with all of the social events, academic support, counselors, teachers, activities, and campus facilities that Orange Lutheran has to offer.
ELITE HOCKEY TRAINING
OLu Hockey, currently in its 11th season, competed at the USA Hockey High School National Championship in 2014-2017, 2020 (qualified but canceled due to COVID), and 2021 and are four-time CAHA State Champions and two-time CAHA State Finalists. Our experienced coaching staff has played and coached the game at many different levels, each with over 25 years in the game. In the gym, training will come from a certified strength and conditioning coach who specializes in hockey.
HIGH SCHOOL EXPERIENCES
Play hockey and enjoy a flexible schedule without sacrificing the fun and social experiences of high school. Ice Academy students are strongly encouraged to engage in OLu’s vibrant student community by attending school dances, pep rallies, OLu Missions trips, theatrical productions, Daily Gathering (chapel), OLu sporting events, and more. Ice Academy students have full access to college planning and counseling programs, which includes an NCAA Advisor and a team Academic Advisor.
ACADEMIC EXCELLENCE
