Lancer Legacy Series: Bob Wheatley ’10

February 15 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

The future that Bob Wheatley ’10 had planned was taken away almost immediately. Within just a matter of months, he lost the baseball career he fought for, the Big-League dream he chased, and even the girl he loved. He had officially reached an all-time low and felt like his story was over. In his words, he was so concerned with writing his story that he forgot that he was already in one — God’s story for his life.

On February 15, Bob will share how God revealed His story to him and how mainstream stories such as The Hunger Games, Friends, and The Dark Knight reflect God’s story, too.

This Lancer Legacy Series event is free, open to the public, and appropriate for all ages. All guests will receive a copy of Bob’s book, Our Hearts’ Desire, and will be able to have it signed following the event.
