Orange Lutheran is committed to the health and well-being of all learners. Leading the state with one of the best student-to-counselor ratios, nine passionate and specifically trained counselors work one-on-one with students to enhance the learning process and promote career, academic, and social-emotional development while building skills and behaviors critical for academic achievement Two freshman-only counselors are dedicated to guiding our newest Lancers, which may include managing a schedule with increased academic rigor, adjusting to changing friend groups, and getting connected to new activities on campus. In addition, our international counselor focuses on the unique needs of learners transitioning to both a new high school and also a new culture. All of our counselors provide college and career planning services, and additional support is available through College Consulting Plus+, as well as for athletes who plan on continuing their career at a collegiate level. See list below to identify your son or daughter’s counselor.
For our 10th-12th graders, our counselors provide a wide variety of support services including one-on-one college planning appointments, grade-level seminars, and much more. International students work with a dedicated international student counselor who is well-versed in meeting the unique needs of these learners and provides assistance as they are introduced to a new culture and helps them to embrace the American high school experience at OLu.
